URBAN PLANTER.
How can we promote greenery and gardening in urban spaces?
21.7% of the UK population live in apartments. With the exception of small balconies, there is limited private outdoor space.
How can we work around pre existing infrastructure to enhance connection to nature?
THE IDEA.
A multi-use planter that fits within standard UK balcony sizing, providing storage for tools, pop up shelfing for extra workspace, and a ft deep plant bed to allow for a wide variety of plants to root.
The planter is designed to be flatpacked, and assembled with basic tools such as screwdrivers and allen keys. This makes the product accessible and affordable to those who do not own power tools, or have the means to transport a fully formed planter unit.
